Conel O’Regan began making his artisan furniture in Horseshoe Valley before locating to Muskoka. Born and raised in Southern Ontario his life went west to Alberta where he lived in Banff & Canmore, and then Salt Spring Island & Victoria B.C. A desire to be closer to family and old friends precipitated a move back to Ontario and the beautiful lands of Muskoka became home.
He and his wife now live on 70 acres of managed forest with large patches of old growth within. Sharps Creek cascades through Muskoka Canyon on the property. Conel is taking his managed forest duties on his property to heart. Trail building, tree thinning to promote hardwood tree growth, and a love of the land occupy much of his spare time.
