Susan Gosevitz is an award-winning artist painting scenes of nature that are
and calm. Her excellence in painting is recognized by the Ontario Society of Artists (OSA), the Society of Canadian Artists (SCA) and Artists For Conservation (AFC). She is a graduate of the Toronto School of Art awarded the top painting prize to a graduating student and she is the recipient of the 2012 Robert Bateman Award.
A member of the Muskoka community, Susan finds her inspiration from the beauty found all around her in Muskoka. “My art is defined by nature including land, water and wildlife. I have a deep respect for the natural world and the wildlife that lives within. Conservation awareness through artistic expression is my gift to nature”.
Susan is a member of the Tobin Island Artists who have published four childrens’ books promoting conservation awareness; Chucky the Lonely Inukshuk 2009, Larry the Loon 2011, and Under Your Nose in 2014 and On the Reef in 2015. She has exhibited across Canada including the McMichael Gallery in Kleinberg. Original paintings can be found in public and private collections. Commissions are welcomed.
